UP - Central Pacific never made it further east than Chicago AFAIK. CP (Canadian Pacific) was the 1st true trans-continental railway as it lines reached from the Atlantic coast all the way to the Pacific coast.

If you've done these kits in HO then you know what they are all about. The detail painting required is naturally a little finer. I have done a complete block and am working on another for a 6' N-trak module.

My LHS has a goodie box with my name on it where the stuff I order goes into when it arrives at the shop. The Missus is well aware of this and goes there when the occasion warrants. Sure cuts down on disappointments.

The 8200 class of chop noses on CP still have their dynamic breaks as they are road swithers, the 1500 class had them blanked out. Unfortuantely, the LL units with the large multi-mark and supposedly "narrow stripping" have an horendous stripping job. All of the other CP and CN paint schemes...
