I'll probaly have about 7' high on a piece of track on a shelf more than chugging around my train set!!! Probaly get some Athearn trucks or NWSL upgrades of some sort.

I'll hopefully one day buy a Hallmark diesel soon. From what the dealer says, they run loudly and erratic! Any ideas how to make it qiueter or better drive? How are they powered?

Marklin does make some 3-rail tarins like you mentioned. They are AC powered too if that helps. No body else I know off make 3 rail HO track. I have some vintage Marklin track and power supply.

TYCO's made it over to IHC and Mehanodid importing for MFG and Mehanos suck because of their cheapiness lacking off flywheels and all wheel pick up!

Are Bachmann's GE 44 tonners good quality locos? I'm hoping it have all wheel electric pickup and all wheel drive along with flywheels.

I plan on using ME #6 switches.
