Changing Couplers for Life Like FA-1 FB-1

Any recommendations on how to do this? I have been told that you cannot convert the coupler on the front of the FA-1. If that's the case, I might as well only convert the coupler at the rear of the B unit since they always run together. Any help is appreciated.

Con Cor Heavyweights & Unimate Couplers

Weights Steve, I have gotten a few suggestions from members of my N-Trak club. They have had some luck adding weights (1/4 oz. or 7 gram) to the cars and this has stopped the uncoupling. I have not tried it yet, but thought I would pass the suggestion along. Jon

Anyone have experience using Unimate couplers on Con Cor Heavyweight passenger cars? My seem to constantly uncouple and since I always run them together I thought Unimate Couplers might be a good solution. I don't know which shank length to get. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    Benchwork for Module

I have read some of the other threads about building a module and have a few questions. People have mentioned using the foam insulation for the top of their module with a couple of stringers to support the foam. Am I understanding this right? How do you mount track on the foam insulation...
