    My first paint job.

SD90 & Cheyenne, You guys have done 'mahvelous' work. The CP unit looks like, well I can't tell if it's an HO Kato or not!

Ray, You lived in Staples? Were you there for the destruction of everything? My last vacation (3 years ago) I drove north, rented a Hotel room across the street from Staples station and watched trains... went to Duluth drove all around. We don't get any Intermodel on the Marshall sub...

    My first paint job.

Hemi, That is the "Best Ever" fantasy paint I have Ever Seen. :D BN really had something when they added that white stripe. It instantly brought class to Cascade Paint. :p You did a great job! And I'll bet that combo can pull the paint off the walls too!!!:D :D :D

THE Track / MT Wheels Debate ...

Blake, You are bringing up another topic that is on my mind. How do you go about body mounting? (Tools & tricks of the trade etc?) The Atlas track is code 80, and like code 100 in HO, is probably the best bet for all hidden track. As for code 70, that seems to be Shinohara via Walthers. Does...

New power on the BN High Prairie Sub!

Cheyenne, Fantabulous looking loco's! I'll always like any SP&S engine and any 'N' SD40-2 in Cascade Green is reason the cheer!!! I have yet to pull out the airbrush since returning to 'N'... those Dash 2's have got me thinking...

THE Track / MT Wheels Debate ...

It has been a couple of months now, for me, since making the big decision to switch to 'N'. I am so impressed with the rolling qualities of the MTL (I call this abbreviation 'Mikes Train Loss' - a little joke for my 'O' scale friends;) ) I really want to build the layout with Code 55 & 40...

Hey by the way, What kind of train was this lashup pulling? Having a 6 axle 40 dash 2 and a 4 axle 38, togther, is a bit odd... not unheard of, but generally the 4 axles are on locals and the 6 axles are on the run through manifests. Whazzup? Inquiring BNSF fans wanna know...

    the-gauge vs. Atlas forum

Hello Everyone! I also am new here. This seems 'way more' comfortable than the shanagians over at Atlas. But like our 2 magazines, both Forums will fit nicely into my communications and data retreival memory banks - when I can get the ol' brain to work. So just how many more 'N'...

    N scale railroading magazine

P.S. BOTH Magazines are wunderful!!! Resources-Resources-Resources! The various articles in the past few issues have been great, like laying Code 55 track, building a BNSF 'Tie Gang' train, or the CSX Utility truck - WOW! I also like the product info. Hundmans does lean more to the craftsman in...

So This Is Where Everyone Is...

If I can remember correctly, I think it went something like this; The Mainline can't be built until the Mainline Turnouts are AVAILABLE !!! Yeah, I think that's how it went! :p

So This Is Where Everyone Is...

We still need #9 and #11 Code 55 Turnouts from Atlas!(':p')
