Here is something I tried and it works great. I used 2" styrofoam, cut it 2 inches by 8 feet then cut it corner to corner, this left me with 2 perfect 2% grade 8 feet long, where I needed a curve I cut lines about 3/4 the way throw on both sides, glued and pined the styrofoam on the table top.

WOW I know what you mean, except I actually started my layout 3 times, first N gauge tore that up, then a HO layout tore that up, then another HO layout tore that one up too, so for my 4th one I'm back to N gauge. I'll be starting a thread of my own "ONE DAY". I'll be checking in on this...

Do a search on glue/adheassive. I think someone mentions best glues for whatever materials used.

I think you guys are doing a great job, to tell you the truth I have only seen spam a few times, and the next thing you know its gone. Keep up the good work.

Have you looked at pet food stores, look at the fish section, I found a 20lbs bag of fine gray/black sand, for less then $10.00. Also have a look out for there plantlife. :thumb:

Having a hard time finding beer logos on boxcars in CANADA, good luck, any tobacco and alcohol logo's are now banned from entery the country. A buddy of mine orderd a model nascar "The Bud Car" from the States, and when the car arrived all the beer logo's where removed from the package. :cry:
