I use Peco flextrack, and it's nice. It's hard to get the impossibly small rail joiners on them, though! The marklin American steam sets are very nice runners I hear... As for trackplaning, I use Microsoft paint. I draw the outline of the benchwork,a dn make lines to make a trackplan...

Video I shot it (low-quality, 2MB) on my digital still camera--it apparently does double-duty. It was raining cats and dogs, but still impressive, trackside. This is Tunnel 19, about 32 miles from Denver, at dusk.

What part numbers do I need for Atlas Geep 40, 30, 35, and SD50/60 slow-speed motors? I need one of a 50, and for several Geeps: 2-GP30's, 2-35's, and a 40.

You could very prototypically run just the 5 domes, and a set of F's as power, for a believeable Rio Grande Zephyr.. More shots Here! The CZ ran with F3's in an ABBA consist, readily available on ebay... Sold out elsewhere, hence my AAA set... The steam generators came on B units only on...

CSX, Ambroid Pro-Weld, and Tenax 7-R work a bit better on styrene kits, stick your fingers to the model less, and grabs quickly. Looks nice! Now I know why I don't have one of those.... Too many parts! Should be huge, though!

Yeah, I don't have any D&RGW Trainworx hoppers, so my BN cars had to be a stand-in... I added some grime to the BN cars, but I guess not enough...

I took a generic shot of clean tunnel motors, and added some photoshop magic: heat, sand dust, dirt/grime, weathering, etc. What do you think?

Thanks much! I am an autorack junkie! As for the sawmill, I wanted to make it look as beaten, unmaintained and weathered as possible. I drybrushed, rather heavily, atop the molded red sawmill sides a coat of Grimy Black, and left just enough red showing to give the appearance of weathered...

I am TB mod, so naturally, I spend much of my forum time there...
