Not sure, as on the opposite average Z track (Micro-Trains track excepted) has a too large tie spacing. So I think Peco or Marklin Z brand may be used as a Nn3 track without any problem. Dominique

Very interresting idea! Myself as a Z-scaler, I also recommand Micro-Trains stuff that is to my eyes more prototypical (and cheaper) than Marklin's. About vehicles, Micronart (http://www.micronart.com) releases very interresting vehicles, including a very nice semi-trailer truck. Dominique

Hi, myself I lay my Z scale track with white glue. On main line I lay a cork roadbed, itself with white glue, then I lay the track on it, still with white glue. And white glues works that well when I lay my yard track directly on the benchwork. Hope this helps, Dominique

As far as I know Marklin prices relative to their Z scale stuff has always been in the same price range. Micro-Trains Line stuff is a little bit cheaper. AZL stuff is more expensive (except their F59PHI and forecoming SD70/75 as their shell is plastic injected) as it is brass built. I've no idea...
