I tried it again and I was wrong - I get lights but nothing more. This engine was made in 2003 and comes DCC ready so there is some kind of circuit board inside. Anyone have suggestions...BTW what do the brushes look like. I will try applying power.

I am trying to reproduce a cruved, brick building. I plan to use rtv rubber for the mold. My question is once I make the mold how can I, using either plastic or plaster, reproduce the item? It seems like I will end up with some very thick sections where the model curves?

Look up the MTH model of their M1a Mountain or any Pennsy n-8 caboose.

I want to make some walls and ever perhaps a stone building. The type of rock I want would be rough cut field stone such as is found in Pennsylvania. I am not looking for nice even blocks. I guess that I somehow would have to make these out of plaster. How would you do this...especially, how...
