Super Star Destroyer Killer: Star Wars A-Wing

I did my A-wing canopy by pulling hot plastic over the plug. All you need is two of theese (every hardware store have them): form a rectangle from them, put piece of plastic on them and fix all together with few of theese clamps: then put it over the stowe, into the owen or use heat gun to...

Unfortunately no updates, but not dead project - I jumped to A-wing and wanted to finish it completly first, it is almost done. Then I will return to this project

    Rover Vitesse 1:24 slot car

Thank you, It looks fine after white colour applied, but light reflections still shows layers here and there. One more layer of primer/filler would help it for sure. But it is not a shelf queen, so imprfections are fine and will be soon multipled after few fast repairs after the races :)

    Rover Vitesse 1:24 slot car

Chasis: This is finished 3d model of chasis. It is 3dprinted already and drives well on the track. If the screws, that holds the motorpod to the chasis, are loose, the motorpod is floating nicly:

Oh sure, Sanding is done on most parts. My sanding process. After the print: 1. I sprayed two layers of filler/primer 2. I sanded with 220 grit sandpaper until plastic has shown up 3. I used "superglue" gel as a putty to correct small errors in print, mainly missing/not aligned layers on edges...

    Star Wars Y-wing /my design/ 1:48

No progres, unfortunately. I have to finish A-wing first - my rule is to have just one unfinished model from a category. So I have one unfinished viking ship, one unfinished plane, one unfinished SW model. :) And sadly for y-wing, I will probably jump to Tie-fighter after the A-wing, because I...

    Y-WING BUILD - Construction continues...

Great decision to carry on. It is part of papermodeling to solve this kind of troubles with free papermodels. I know this feeling, I encountered it manytimes. Lazy production, maybe. But you must understand that designer made this model for himself. He published it only on the demand of people...

    Y-WING BUILD - Construction continues...

I know Niesen had this delivery problems. The price puted me off to purchase some of studio scale star wars models. Finaly I decided to make my own detailed models from paper in half the scale (1:48) for space reasons. But with all possible details of Studi Scale models. It is much more fun for...

    Star Wars A-wing / Shunichi Makino + heavy mods/ 1:48

Thank you, Canopy is formed and fits like the glove. I did it for a first time and canopy looks great. I am happy. First try was learning experience, but second try was sucess. I holded the scrap sheet of plastic from some packaging in my hands and heat it above the gas stove to the point is...

    Y-WING BUILD - Construction continues...

Oh, It looked ok by itself. I would not say it is so off. May I ask who produced the studioscale kit?
