Thanks for the comments everyone! I will take a paus in this build while I prepare things for a miniature gaming convention at the end of august. I will resume the build once the stress for that is past.

I have started building a Halo Pelican and thought I would document the process. More to come as I manage to put it together.

I am afraid I cannot take much credit for the wearthering in the pictures, it is present on the printed model. I need to give it som finishing touches before I am satisfied with the final look though.

I agree about the similarity. It was a fun build and the cargo ramp actually closes as well.

I usually cut on the line, as I have found it easier for me to see where to cut that way.

Here is a cargo ship model from Scalescenes originally the model is in 1:87 but I have enlarged it to 1:64. First the underlying structure: Almost finished pics: There is still some detailing and weathering to do before I am satisfied, but it was a fun build.
