I found these two models, they look great, they are free, and very easy to get. I suggest grabbing them while you can! These are some really sweet, detailed models, worthy of any collection. :)

they look fantastic, but fair warning to anyone attempting to build them: many of the parts do not fit 100% properly, which means adjustments must be made quite frequently. I tried building this once, but my perfectionist self couldn't cope with some of the improper fittings and I scrapped the model. For any firefly fans, someone over at Papermodelers.com is designing a MASSIVE and HYPER DETAILED model of the Serenity in 1/72nd scale (!!!!!!) , complete with detailed interiors, fully suctioning hatches, a spinning rotor, and dock able shuttles. It's not done yet and I've no idea of the time frame, though I can guess it'll be a considerable amount of time before it's 100% finished, but the shuttle models are available already, and I'd seriously recommend a look: http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/alternate-dimensions/7636-firefly-project.html

One is colored up to represent when they went through the hoard of Reaver ships. One of the sites site you posted, does not state he has permission to download them, he states, "I hope they don't mind". I guess they didn't but don't know.?We aren't the Internet Police, but I like to stick to websites that do not state those doubts. It is nice to get these models though, personally, I enjoyed the series, but really liked the movie. :)

Oopsie - my fault. I removed the link. :)

Anyway, it was basically the same model, so no great loss here. Apparently the original site you posted was unavailable for quite some time so that one guy thought it would be better to launch a site on his own to preserve the model.

The second link to planetstartfreak is more important since it contains a new set of parts and gives some tips on how to enhance the look of the model. :)

There is also a BIG vanilla version of the Serenity. I'll have to look up the link.

To me the ship is part of the BSG universe since it visited Caprica (and a Battlestar Defender disguised as a wrecked Reaver ship visited Serenity). I therefore have put it in my BSG models folder. ;)

That's the reason I like this too. A guy is making one with an interior, but that was 5 years ago, and I don't think he finished it. It's easy enough to extrapolate the inside with the model though, even if there are places for hiding stuff, like smugglers do. I can say, when that site disappears, I will host it here, so it does not get lost tot he winds of time. ZEALOT now hosts the works of many people, their whole collections, and they can be removed, no reason need be given, if need be. If someone uploads their own model, then they can delete it. If I have to up load it, then they need ask me, and I will not hesitate to do so, just in case someone had a really nice NOAH fisheries boat she had still kicking around and felt like spreading it around for a while, (Hint, Hint). :)
