I am so very glad to see you tackling this one.
I am thinking about building it as well. So I will be watching this thread closely!!!

That is freakin' cool! Fiction though. They did make "Pill Boxes" with turrets on them Very hard to defend though. That would have had "Target" written all over it. If it could fly, well that would be different. Really cool though. Below is the real thing! :)

I figured it wasnt real, but still...Imagine if the Allies saw a few of these coming across the battlefield. :)

Rhaven, when you do build it, Put parts 7 and 10 together first before mounting on the body frame.....and add plenty of extra support to the body on the inside. I used my triangle support method, and it works great.

If that thing had snappy Hydraulics on it, it could also be used for anti-aircraft, by tilting it's body. After seeing what "Boston Dynamics" (I think Google purchased them) is doing with robotics, anything goes. :)

Had an unfortunate accident with a frying pan full of hot grease....Ill be ok, and hopefully there isnt any permanent damage, but for the time being, I am unable to work on anything requiring dexterity in my hand.hope you guys understand, and soon I will resume this build.

OUCH!!!
I am sorry to hear such. I hope that you are able to heal up quickly and that there is not permanent damage.
I hop that you are able to get your dexterity and fine motor skills back quickly as well.

After a week and a half, its looking pretty bad. Forefinger and middle finger are very stiff, and overall the entire hand itches like crazy. I cannot wait for it to heal. I stare at this unfinished Maket Tahka, and its driving me nuts.

Thank you for keeping us posted on how you are doing.
That looks nasty!
Have you put aloe vera on it?
I hope that it heals up quickly.

GREAT!!!
I am keeping my fingers crossed and you are in my thoughts and prayers.
I hope when you have completely healed that you will have full range of motion in your hand again.
