Thanks for looking in and for your kind comment.

Eventually I need to break away from 40K for a little while but for the moment I am still here working on this project and another one which I like very much. It is a book style pdf of instruction on my builds. But that is for another day. The next update will be on another build version of the environmental back pack. In the meantime, enjoy the next batch of photos for your enjoyment.

Here is some more updates on the Astartes. From here on, I will fill in with more options for the figure and build threads on those options. Enjoy and see you all soon with more stuff. This session is on the optional environmental back pack. The ones in the plans is too blocky and the optional one is more to the 3d version of the GW.

Thanks for looking in and for your comment D'or is okay but I will stick with argent for now.

The photo editing is a bit slow for the moment. I am helping my daughters out with the grandkids and their multiple sports activities. Besides, it is fun to watch the little fellas play. Here are some more updates for your perusal. As you can make out in one of the photos, I went to quickly and made the Space Wolf with his feet pointing outward instead of pointing in. It could be the beginning of the taint of chaos. Enjoy and see you soon with more updates.

This looks GREAT!!!
I like the little extra details that you have added (like the chain). They give the finished model a bit more life sets it apart from all the rest.
The stand is a GREAT (albeit simple) idea! I like it!thumbsup

Well here is the rest of the session on the environmental back pack exhaust outlets. This version is much more detailed than the laminated layered version.

Thanks, that is why I made this option for those of us who want to go a bit higher in the development of a better model.

This model is actually finished but I am going to take it a bit further with some options to get a different variations of individual Astartes. There will be different weapons options as well as upper armor modifications. I am working on a beaked helmet at the moment. Enjoy and here is the next batch of updates for your enjoyment. Enjoy and see you all soon with more stuff to come your way.

I know exactly what you mean. Once I start a subject it is hard to stop and go on to the next. I should learn to keep it simple but then my threads would not be as exciting thumbsup

I will post the photos later, I seem to have an uploading problem at the moment. See you all soon with the photos.

I have a group of individual weapons for the Astartes to choose from. But I will probably hold back on the larger Las-Cannon and heavy bolter for now. But in the meantime the bolter is done and I am working on the missile launcher and the lamer. Here is the next batch of photos for your enjoyment.

The bolter's muzzle is from a dowel with a thin strip of paper and the smaller details are added. A hand plasma and bolter handgun are done using the same techniques as with the assault bolter. The next batch of weapons will be done a bit different. See you all soon with more stuff to come your way.

These weapons look GREAT!!!

Thanks. There are a myriad of weapons for the Space Marines, I will do some but the heavier ones will have to wait for another day.

I had over 25 photos of the build up of the additional weapons, but somehow I misplaced the micro disk and I cannot show you all how the effects were accomplished. Needless to say, here are the finished product and now to decide on another display base to show off the finished work.

I guess that it is time to finish this one up and upload to the resources. The final touch, is a new display base for it and a place to hang up all of those extra weapons. On the blank wall, it is supposed to have the chapter banner on it but I did not get around to it. This model while made by me, it has some ideas from other designers in it. I appreciate the work of them in the making of this figure. I enjoy making and building Warhammer items, even though I do not play anymore. The rules keep changing and I have accumulated too many codexes and I do not wish to buy any more books with the exception of the paper backs from the Dark Library. Again, enjoy and i am off to keep working on the Command and Control water craft for the Imperial surface navy.
