This models is just a half of a building.
Like a cutaway for photo purpose.

beautiful work, love the details; it is awsome the kind of details you can get in large scale.. thank you for sharing, might need to try to do something like this in O scale once my 4-4-0's start to shape up

I always enjoy a good craftman doing scratch builds. Great attention to detail.. Sometimes I get carried away with the details, but they do enhance the build. One of my old sayings, is " A model by itself, is just a dust collector, but put it into a diorama and it tells a story." Yours definitely does that very well, a story without words. Thanks for sharing.

This is awesome! Just had to say.

I came looking for papercraft, but my main interest is miniature wood working. Ships, doll houses, HO scale buildings, etc. I use paper craft when things are not available in wood, like SCI FI models ;)

It looks like you planked it all in strip wood, not using larger pieces and scoring them. That is the way to build :) Like it was done in life size. I love strip wood. Unlike most of my woodworking friends, I can move my whole lumber yard around on a dolly :)

I always find it so amazing how the first piece of board you laid down, already looks like a full size one, and the project seems like the real thing from day one. Fantastic! :)
