Was the texturing on the hull a decal? You did a superb job on this. Lots of work. Without the detailing, the model would have fallen flat, bought you really put the decals on so well, it looks great! :)

yes Z the textures are all decals, 155 of them in all

That's a great job! I've got the previous issue of that model (sitting in my closet). How sturdy is the base and metal rod?

The base with the dome and metal rod is quite sturdy as long as you leave out the ball joint and just use the rod.

beautiful work, I have one enterprise, but no fancy paint or decaling, it is sutck on a wire above one od the levels my 1928 themed model railroad
