Hi everyone! I just stumbled across this model on Papermau's site :
The Thrust Polar Borer from the 70s film The Last Dinosaur. Anyone else here

I don't but great job on the model. Very clean, round and as straight as an arrow!! :)

Ah, the 70s....I should mention the picture isn't my build but an example from the author's website. It is indeed a very clean, straight build.

yes I remember the show, I was going to make the dinosaur but got caught up in moving and was there when this guy made this great model!!! I remember his first post on it was vectoring the cone and explaining it. he did a great job and we were all satisfied, its cut out and in a samwich box on my work table waiting to be glued!! lol.. I just looked at in on saturday wondered if I should sit down and finish it, naw, I will in a week, lol and got to work on my grissom.
still a great tv show, a great memory of him making this great model.
