Sweet!! It is so ironic you chose to do this engine when it is being redesigned for possible reuse in future spaceflight. very cool indeed! :)

I need 5 of them (1:48) for my retirement plans of future. After completing the Apollo 11 spacecraft (LM-CSM), I'm going to start S-IV B (3rd Stage of the greatest Saturn V Booster) than 2nd and 3rd stages take their places... Your F-1 Engine is great Sir! Fantastic!

Actually, I started scratchbuilding a Saturn V in 1/48 in styrene, several years back. 'Started with the SLA, and worked down to the 2nd stage. I need to finish that and move on the 1st stage, so will use this model as a guide for building five F1s!
