Yeah I saw that too, BobMan....I was able to download and it's just simple model designed for use as a Christmas Ornament......There is no detail. the designer made a box-like item of what looks like a Farnsworth.....Actually a small child would be possibly content with it...(age 5-8).......

Their design is light years behind Revell-Fan's!!!!

Hi b0bman! Thank you very much for taking an eye on a designer's creations. I have taken a look at it and agree with vulcan, this is a different model. I used the same images as a preliminary texture for the preview pics though which caused the similar appearance. The kit is very simple and suitable for beginners (I guess it is static, too).

However, I too had the idea to incorporate some pics of the actors to make it look like you were talking to them. I didn't do that because I thought it would infringe the rights of the person(s) shown on the pics and the rights of the photographer and / or copyright holder (that was another reason, too, why I have made my own texture for the FW).

BTW, you might have noticed that I haven't posted much for quite some time. This is due to a nasty cold which has been troubling me for almost a month now. It is getting better (TOO SLOWLY for my taste!!! :-( ) but I'm staying away from glue and dust till it is fully cured. I'm currently working in the (no-glue-required) "CG realm" only, revising RB's new cockpit interiors for the Thunderfighters, and will then proceed to the texture for the Viper and the next Farnsworth package (I'll have to see if this is gonna be the black one or the innards of the standard one).

I hope you understand. I'll keep you posted!

I still can't download it yet but I'm REALLY looking forward to building this one! This is an exceptional kit.

Many thanks for the effort.

Best,

Ian

I'm so sorry, but no-one is able to down- (and up-) load anything at the moment... :eek:ops:

i can't wait! i just finished the 12th Doctors' control room model from "action figure theater". i think it turned out nice for a test build. it's not my build, but this is the build pic from the site. i will add my pics soon (i need to pose the figures first).
