Hi
I am 39 year old from Romania. I am working with my 6 and 3 year old kids on paper models and other handy crafts like gluing together sea shells, polymer clay modeling and other small things.
I hope to find some nice work to do for the kids (and my self) starting from very easy levels and step by step going up to complex models.

Kind regards,
Dofi

Hi Dofi, feel free to post pics of whatever you and your children have made. It does not have to be only made of paper. Great to see parents play with their children, they grow up so fast. :)

As zathros said, please post your (and your childrens) work. We would all like to see what you have done.
Like Rogerio said, please let us know what you (and your children) are into and we will be able to help you find what you like.

Once again, welcome aboard and I look forward to seeing your work.
I hope that you enjoy yourself here.

Thank you all for your welcome messages, I see I can make albums, so I will post there some pictures. The kids paper cutting skills are very low, the 6 year old is miss cutting usually the edges and especially the corners, after he is working I have to cut again his work or reprint and cut again. The 3 year old… is cutting randomly the paper in small pieces, without understanding the purpose of the lines on the paper.

Don't worry about that. They're doing exactly what they're supposed to do, for their ages. Coordination is a mean ability to grasp... Me, I haven't done so good, and I'm 45!!! sign1
What you CAN do about that, if not already doing so, is to motivate them, and ALWAYS tell them what a fine job they're doing. For your older kid, I SUGGEST, after motivating him about a well done cutting job, showing him that he could do even better by cutting on the line. And then YOU show how (expect no prompt improvement).
I'm NO psychologist, but if I were a kid, I guess that would make me feel good, and strengthen the bonds with my dad.

Thank you Rogerio, i know they are acting accordingly to they age, but is funny to see the difference between them. Usually i am doing as you say, showing and helping... i forget to tell about the 1 year old who is sometime manage to grab the already cut out parts and is destroying them, so, after a little cry out from the part owner, we start again to print and cut.

I did an album with some of our works.
