Sub Marine Explorer - 1865

I seem to like smaller models now ever since I did the Borgward BI....
Anyway, I've always had a special interest in Victorian-Era subs, with the pearl-fishing Sub Marine explorer being one of my favorites.

Victorian Era subs were really intense. They really had the Jules Verne feel to them. I don't think I would have had what it takes to go under in one of them, but I would have encouraged others! :)

Must've taken quite a bit of moxie to actually go down in something like that!

Display base and Lower Hull are done. The ersatz printer I'm using f___ed up the first copy so I printed on the reverse sides of the sheets, hence the strange pattern within the lower hull.
