Yes, the engines are ready..
so i started with the next parts.
its that gun mounting point.

i hope this is easier then the engines.

Also i still need to make those 2 exhaust-ports.
i need to make somehow some good tubes..that look thick.

Guns of dnalor...

These might work.
Cheap too.
Wrap em in paper, and they should be bulky enough..
Dunno if the diameter is correct though..

I believe that is a short time away. It is just amazing. You can't buy something like that, so that means you have something that few, if anybody, has. :)

If all the time, effort, and unbelievable detailing you have put in this model don't make it an ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC replica, then I can't possibily figure out what it'll be.

just a little update.
I cut out the panels..
then glue them on the paper with the colour of speeder.
cut them out again..
and glue them in to place..
don't forget the screw holes this time..

Try switching out the back sections.
I think that will solve your problems.

The tubes converge. It is obvious in the drawing above. :)

But not by that much. It looks to me like the back sections are a bit too big, but hard to say without ortho photos.

hum..
i replaced the gunrods..
they look better but the middle section is now to low..
i think i will i keep it like this and mask the little error :)

Imcold do you really think that the engines are to thick?..
the orginal engines looks so small when i installed them..

The sidewalls on the aft boxes seem a bit too steep, but I don't want to talk bs. I'll peek through my references later today and I'll let you know. Anyway, you can mask it by breaking the rods in the forward boxes, it doesn't have to be perfectly straight from back to front.

i think that i will do something like that to get it right :)
rebuilding the back engines is a no go...(for me) they look to nice...

The components that I have circled, just switch the whole components out (put the left one on the right and the right one on the left). I think that will solve your problem.

that is not possible..
The details of the armour panels are different of the side and the top.
I think i will mask the error with the engine details, the pieces that are white on the wings see picture (under the rods)

It's not so much that the parts are reversed it is that the trapezoids are not correct. The longer side should be on the wing and the shorter connecting to the cockpit (with the flat). You could just center the tubes as necessary and redraw the fronts of the trapezoids to correct the situation. I think this could be an easy fix with your talents. IMHO. :)
