Dan Dare Cryptosian Ship

The Cryptosian Rocket Ship from Dan Dare. I designed this by request from Diderick A. den Bakker. This one is a modified, enlarged version of what I first came up with. The wings are of layered construction, with the finished engines slid over and into place, as shown in the last pictures of rejected parts. An alternate, conic nose section is also shown. I wasn't happy with how that particular one came out. The petaled one looks better.

The second parts picture. Never noticed the six attachment limit before.

Thanks. Next up will be the space liner Astral Queen. She's printed out and ready to build. After that will come the Treen Interceptor.

Here's some pictures of the stand, since the model needed something better than a Garfield glass to sit on .

Well...seems nice to me, too :) Like the simple design of the ship :) Also the stand is a very nice idea. Good job :)

Another Dan Dare work-in-progree. The Astral Queen.

The nose is a bit rough. I had to remove and replace the original, but should have just built a whole new model.

Still to come, two different stands, and the (optional) launch boosters.

Bhellion, your Cryptosian ship really came out nice!. I bet that would fly really nice with an ESTES rocket engine stuff up the center. :)
