You are always welcome, pal! :thumb:

You did a formidable job on this one. I too would never have thought about adding a third engine. What a small mistake can make.

I'll revise the parts and send you everything for approval.

...

Well, ya know, all we need now would be a special kick-ass colour scheme.... black and yellow..?:rolleyes::rolleyes:

To quote the immortal words of Henry Ford (the man who started Ford Motor Company); "You can have it in any colour that you want, just so long as it is BLACK!!!

I think that it should be in Black.

Thank you both for the kind words.

Back Story

Here is the back story behind the development of the Three engine Raptor (A.K.A. "VelociRaptor").
Just before the Cylons broke the Armistice and started the holocaust, Scorpio Military Industries was developing a new type of Raptor designated "VelociRaptor". This new Raptor was adapted with a third engine for greater speed and longer FTL jump capabilities. There were four variants made; MedEvac, Recon/surveillance, gun ship, and troop/personnel transport.
All four of these prototypes were placed on the Pegasus for field trials, while she was in "DRY-DOCK" for refit (and remained on-board after Admiral Cain gave the order to jump away during the Cylon attack).
Shortly after Major Adama too command of the Pegasus, he was told about these new prototype Raptors. Major. Adama had them transferred to the Galactica to finish the field trials and to have them put into service by Chief Tyrol.
All four Raptors passed with flying colours, unfortunately, the Galactica did not have to ability to make any more, so these four were the only ones ever made.

I thought that a viper enter in colision with a raptor on an FTL jump just like the professor mix-up with a fly in the Sci-fi movie ''The fly'' !:mrgreen::mrgreen:

Great job on this model Rhaven Blaack !

Thank you all for the compliments.

DBK, I have to agree with you. I too like the three engine version better then the original one.
I think that I will build more like this one in the future.
