Hi there,

I would like to show my building of a R2D2 model which you can find on http://www.paper-replika.com/.

At the most time I will let the Pictures speak.

Here are the next steps....

...to get sharp bendings, I use the scalpel and scratch a Little bit along the folding-lines.

Thank you very much for your comment and the link. The R2 unit looks very nice.
Currently I am searching for a good and detailed x-wing model or an EVA Pod from Space Odysee 2001 - but I can't find a good one. I guess the space odysee models are very rare in the web.

Ask and yee shall receive. check out the thread from IMCOLD here: http://www.zealot.com/forum/showthread.php?t=157880&highlight=IMCOLD+X-WING
I has designed an AMAZING X-Wing fighter.

As for the EVA Pod from 2001, the only one that I know of is the one that UHU02 made.

Good luck with it.

First of all, well done. A really good build!
Now, about the x-wing and EVA Pod, have you seen UHU02's work? I know he has a beautifully detailed EVA, and he's finishing his x-wing. There's a thread on it, BTW. Check it out

Cheers,

yeah - the X-Wing looks GREAT :) Thanks alot

...and for the EVA Pod - lol - I have to say... I am not good in solving a riddle.
Sure, I did read alot about it, but all those hints and secrets are too misterious for me.

You have built a fine R2! As for solving a riddle, UHU02 has decided to make the parts for his EVA pod available for everyone again in memory of the catastrophic events at Fukushima.
Visit http://uhu02.way-nifty.com/ and take a look at the first paragraph.

There are 2 other x wings..
the Imcolds red 2 and 4.

Don't forget them :)
the difference..

The Uhu02 is the cut open version..
the Imcold are the 'ready to fly' version...(that's the one i have build)
