Warhammer 40K

Warhammer 40K - Ragnaroc

I made a few changes on this tank....just to suit what I like :) like my scratch built twin grenade launchers mounted on the front. ;)

Warhammer 40K - Leman Russ Eversor

This one took me a little while. There were a few changes I had to make, like elevating the gun turret for clearance. this isn't a part issue, but rather a shrinking issue. the shrinking makes the parts screwy sometimes. Still though, Im pleased with this. :)

Warhammer 40K - Armored Truck

A simple Armored Truck that was a blank template, so I printed it twice, once on white, and the other on metallic. With coloring, and layering, I got a cool fun little Armored Truck :)

You are (as always) off to a GREAT start.

Warhammer 40K - Heavy Bombard

This build hit a milestone...I learned the level of my dedication, lol....You'll notice the last pic looks weird.....that's because i was building with flashlight ambience....Our power went out. ;)

As always, you have done a FANTASTIC JOB on this little guy.
These model that you are making are far better then any of the ones that you can buy in any shop anywhere.

I know that you said that yo do not play WH40K, but have you thought about taking any of your models into you local GW shop to just see what the people there say about your work?
I am certain that you will get more then just a few "OOOHHHs" and "AAAHHHs", as the people look at what you have done.

Thanks Rhaven....i just enjoy building. Up next is a dual Leman Russ build....but these two will be as different as night and day ;)

As far as taking the models to a shop, I wouldn't even know what to say if someone offered to buy one.

If you did decide to sell them, It would be a good way to make a little extra cash. You could even take custome orders.

which begs the question....how do i let go of my builds? lol

To be honest, I FULLY UNDERSTAND that question. Unfortunately though, only you can truly answer that question for yourself (no one else can do it for you).

I faced that same question last year after completing my Thunder Fighter collection. I had someone come up to me and said that his children would love to have something that them. At that moment I was in the middle of working on the cockpit interior for them, and knew that I wanted to rebuild them with the interiors. Which ment I needed more room. So I gave all but two of them to that guy. I have visited him and his family a few times and each time his children see me, they thank me for the plane (the children are still playing with them).

For me, it is the actual process of building the model that I get the most enjoyment, and it is even GREATER, if I am making a model for someone else.

That makes alot of sense, and im not really a materialistic person. I guess the big thing for me is that i don't like to do the same thing twice. Life is a learning process....

another thing, earlier I said "Up next is a dual Leman Russ build" But that's wrong. it's not a dual build, but rather a Back to back build. there is no way im building these two together, lol

First up is the Vangulsher, then the SAID Dominator

EDIT: Ok, so i will do a Dual build, but it's going to be two Vangulsher's...then on to the SAID ;)
