watched the first one... the "competitors" did not make the bots, one man did. just cant buy into it, i know it has to start somewhere but this just seems to scripted.

I still say it's not as good as Robot Wars from G4Tv or BattleBots from Comedy Central. There was a UK version of either show a while back but I didn't think it was as good as the originals from here and Canada.

I agree with arkon that it's all scripted, typical of reality tv.

It's pretty cool, but you have to say that with every "reality" TV show that comes out you can subtract about 5 IQ points from the average TV viewer.
