Which link was that? I don't recall linking to anything regarding the Escort Carrier.

It never appeared in the movies. It was first mentioned in the Imperial Sourcebook for the Star Wars Roleplaying Game. It has also made appearances in all the flight simulator games, other than the Rogue Squadron series.

It looks like everytime someone types in the two words "escort" and "carrier" together the browser (or possibly the website) inserts a link. Not sure why.:?:

vbsargent - not happening for me with Chrome. Suspect it might be malware/adware installed on your computer. To what site do the links direct you?

I can see where "Escort Carrier" turned into a link, and when I hover my cursor over it, it says "Link added by VigLink" Strange

On another note, it's not Star wars or Star Trek completely, but you all know what I love building, and there IS a few Starships from those universes in it. And it's Funny ;) :p

Okay, the Escort Carrier is finally done! :D

It probably would have been done sooner if I hadn't had a case of stomach virus, followed by the flu, and finally capped by a cold. I swear, the last two weeks have been like World War 3 in my body. peasoup

Luckily it's over and I can get back to fun stuff like this. :thumb:

I'm thinking I'll be tackling the Carrack Cruiser next.

Fantastic man !!!

It looks great and not so hard to build either.
I love the scales your making these models in, not to big and deffinatly not to small either :)

I'm glad you're getting over the flue, you can feel pretty misserable when you're under the weather.

Take time to recouperate though or you'll be stuck with it for a long time.

Cheers and thanks for the great model, I'm gonna download it as soon as it's available.

I don't think you have enough yet. But it'll take bit while for me to unfold this beauty and properly position the parts, and until then you can stop by other threads and compliment other people's work, and by the time I get done you'll probably have enough posts to download the Strike-class, as well as my other Imperial capital ships. :thumb:

Lots of awesome work here! I'm going to have to try some of these soon.

Just a question, though, and I'm sorry if there's another thread or if this has already been answered, but is anyone doing anything like this with the star fighter ships from this same enhancement project?

Awesome!

I'm hoping that some of these capital ships might work as props for Fantasy Flight's X-Wing Miniatures game. I know the scales really wouldn't be right, but just to use in a static role to give a board a bit more character.

Actually I'm releasing several capital ships in 1:270 scale to be used specifically for that game! :D

The new Freighters thread I made is all about making transports that can be put into a convoy and used as targets for Rebel raiders, or perhaps as a Trojan Horse to attack an Imperial supply depot. They need stats, but I'm sure gamers who don't mind constructing models for their games wouldn't mind creating a few stats to go along with them.
