RC BSG Landram project

I am having a problem of range of the RC unit. I have determined that the 2 inch antenna I had made is too short. The original antenna is about 12 inches.

So I have a idea for a larger one, but wondered if my mind is on track (no pun intended). Do all versions of the Landram have the grab rails around the turret section?? All pics I have found all have the gun turret on them, and no cargo version except drawings.

The idea is to make the rail from metal and use it AS PART OF the new antenna.

any ideas thoughts?

thanks

From everything that I know about the Landram series vehicles, YES, all of them have the grab rails around the turret section. So YES, you should be able to make an antenna out of it.

You are doing an AMAZING job on this project.

Keep up the GREAT work!!!

That looks really good. Once it is painted, no one will ever know that it is the antenna.

new problem, screen on transmitter keeps blinking off
think it a voltage problem, the transmitter has too low voltage for screen, other than that it works great, got my range back

Your welcome. I often find a video best show the concept better than still photos.

As the saying goes "A picture is worth a thousand words but a video doesn't need words"
