All the parts are finish and glued together. The warn for the external structure. is finish. The only thing I have to do is details this baby, put the antennas and the turrets. But before that, some vacation with family and friends.

I told you that when I finish the engine I will power it up... so let the lights do his effect.

Oh my God that is absolutely stunningly beautiful!! I was shocked when I looked at this!

Would it be possible to take some Desktop size "big pictures", some in darkness, so I/we, could use them on our desktops? This is the epitome of model making. Wonderful, and Inspiring! Thank You so much for sharing this journey with us! You made my day! We bow to your awesomeness!! :inw::inw::inw:

When I was very young, when I looked at a science fiction movie, I hurried up to draw vessels and I build them with some cardboard(box) and paper. I recovered with the paper craft thing two years ago and my Galactica is my fifth build.

The Battlestar Galactica is my first one of a series (I fall in Galactica when I was young :p) which I want to detail and had lights. My friends, my build is not finish yet. I want to add some details and I will referred to the site of Zoic Studio. So more to come................

I am very honored with your comments and I thank you very very much all for that.

For the ones of you who want some desktop size pictures like Zathros, when my build will be completed, I will do something with Photoshop. If you have some suggestions or demands I'm open.......

BUT.........BEFORE ALL THANT............SOME VACATION IN CUBA (yes Zathros....again )...so have a nice week !

You have done an ABSOLUTELY PHENAMINAL job on this model.
The amount of detail that you have put into this model is breath taking.
I like the fact that you even added the gun turrets as well as other fine detail like that.

Thank you for sharing your work and the video with all of us. I GREAT ENJOYED following it.

I look forward to seeing your next project.

Keep up the GREAT work.

Thank you very much you all for your comments....

It was a long build and a fun build. Many of ''How I will do this'' in this project. I shall have liked putting more details but every thing must have a end.

For my next project, there is so many good build to do and I dont know witch one to pick. For sure it will be BSG. When I buld the pods, it came to me has the idea to build an oversize piece of this one. The same way for the turrets. But for this one I do not know if there is an available modele. Maybe a future project of creation for this model.

So, I think I will make an oversize model of the front left of the Galactica landing pod. In that way, I will be able to ad more details and lights and even the approch light's. And, to respond to dnalor, add tiny viper's and raptor's.

BUT..........BEFOR ALL THAT..........I need to build a transparent case for my Galactica. It will be a shame to break it after this amount of work.

I will post some picks when it's done.......

Yes Dnalor,

I think the build will be about 5 inchs width by 12 to 16 inchs long and I will be able to put some lights an inside detailing. I will have to look for some picture on the net like this one.

16 inch?...

that's small...
isn't that the same size as the arms of the galactica you just did?

i was thinking :) 1 metre ...great for above your desk and large enough for extreme details..
