Horse Drawn Hearse

Hiya! Continuing with my Halloween themed building, I resized the Hearse that is in the Zealot download area to about 1:18. I intend to use flicker LEDs for the gas lights, and build the door on hinges. This will go on display with the Haunted Dimensions collection that I am working on.

OK my friend, you have me hooked. I am following this thread as well.

These Halloween models that you are making will also be good for a Sleepy Hollow diorama.

This should be fun. Maybe you would post the ink to it next time. The Downloads Search function is not working at the moment.:eek:ops:

It's not just the search function, the download link itself is broken.

The carriage is here: http://www.zealot.com/forum/downloads.php?do=file&id=527

But the download sends me to a 404 not found.

Now about the model itself, i'm more interested in that coffin than in the carriage. I want to someday make a full horror diorama, with some paper models, some minis and maybe some foam stuff. The Ravensblight models (found here: http://www.ravensblight.com/papertoys.html ) are a huge help by themselves, but i love this coffin, would go perfect with a vampire.

I have built three of the Ravensblight minis, and I modified Ray Keim's Conservatory Coffin. I also have an open grave (but for the life of me I can't remember where I found the pattern. I did modify it). You can see the pictures below. You can, I think get a sense of what I am up to.

RB & Zanthros, Thank you for your very kind words, they are an huge encouragement!

The Hearse is also on my drawn horse carriage list of things to do. But I also am going to do a Warhammer first, the storm talon and the manned walker version or the Helicopter attack version, maybe all three. That fifth wheel setup should be interesting to do on the Hearse.

That 5th wheel set up with a Goth'd out pickup and some Mag wheels would be awesome! :)

Wow! Holy frak! That looks awesome! Maybe you can find some skeletal or Zoombie horses to draw it. Greetz from Sleepy Hollow! :thumb:

I am so blown away by how Awesome this build is, having made several of the Ravensblight paper models, I am loving this - have you considered the tombstones from this site? http://www.haunteddimensions.raykeim.com/index346.html I have made several models from this site and they come out really well!
