It's quite amazing what you find out in these models.

This forum does not allow straight advertising, but if someone built a model, and included a build thread, I would have no problem at all with them posting a link to the site where they purchased the model, and making a comment about the experience. That's part of the hobby. :)

Okay - I've updated my website bazookajo.me.uk so it's ready for the plans but the 'actual' pdfs are not uploaded yet as I am just finishing the instructions.

It will def be in place by 1st July and hopefully earlier than that.

So - links are there but pdfs are not.

Best regards

Joe.

Okay - plans are up :)

Still working on instructions - but these are really just for the bobblehead mechanism and my tips on Eddie's tape.

Dear bazookajo

I didn't realize that you were the one who made Marvin the Martian, and Ren and Stimpy. I would like to take this opportunity to Thank You for your regular participation in this forum and your great contribution to this hobby. I remember watching in amazement when you constructed Marvin the Martian and do remember posting in that thread. I was dumbfounded. You were a great inspiration to me. In many ways. Your generosity with your models, it seems lately that many people are starting to sell mediocre models, while others, as yourself, are giving away works of art. The high quality, and the fact that pull these carton characters into 3D world (4 including the time you now get to spend with them) and the fact that you could make then out of paper, which such satisfying realism.

You are a pillar in this community. You are a great inspiration! I am honored that you post here so regularly, I know we all are. You are an integral part of this forum.

Maybe you could increase the size of your website in your signature, so that it is more visible.

It would be nice to see Bugs Bunny, the old one though, from the 1940's, if you ever got around to it. I think you the only person who could pull it off! The Gremlin episode "Falling Hare": was one of my all time favorites. Some people can't stand Bugs, I think he's funny though, these many years later, (I guess Mel Blanc just makes me laugh ), or just the Gremlin, he would be a blast to have hanging around!! A BIG Thanks!! :)

Well thanks Zathros - glad my models could be of some inspiration :) For me it was the webdude Wacky Racers cars that I stumbled upon that inspired me in the first place:
http://www.paperized.net/2012/01/wacky-races.html

Before that I'd messed around hacking models out of corrugated cardboard as a kid, but those boffins at Pepakura changed the rules, and guys like the Webdude and showed just what could be done.

As for Bugs - that would be cool, but Duck Dodgers would be at the top of my list, and there are a few other models I need to make my life complete before then :D What with my limited free time and slooooow turn around :)

Next for me 'hopefully' will be another BBC Hitchhikers G2 model or two, starting with another bobblehead - Ford Prefect, but I have yet to prove to myself that I can get a small and relatively paper head to look like David Dixon....we shall see ;D

Again - thanks for the great comments and glad you enjoy the models. I create them for me because I love them and the fact that others can enjoy them too is a real bonus.

P.S. good idea on the signature...

There you go!!:thumb: You guys, that make FREE models, go nuts, post big banner links.

This cannot apply to any site that sells their work though, different issue altogether.

Cheers Zathros :) - decided to streamline it a little as well, and seriously - if you think it's OTT or that it will open the doors for banner-mania then let me know and I'll change as per your instructions - modding these forums is a tough gig so if it needs to back to text-only at any point - no worries.

Oh - and final instructions are uploaded too - so all done and hoorah!

Best regards

Joe.

From an aesthetic standpoint, I like it the way it is right now. That's actually a perfect size. :)
