Do you think you could write of our experience programming the Ardino programmable processor (not sure what they call these mini-computers anymore). :)

I understand. Actually, if you posted the exact model number, the programming guide might be found on the 'net. :)

Here is the website to download the software for it. http://arduino.cc/en/Main/Software

the software got some examples like LED blink , LCD display , servo comtrol in the sketch. go to files at the top an you will see examples , scroll across in basics & you will see blink.

here is one blink sketch for LEDs code.

every time you create a sketch or use a sketch you have to verified the code first before uploading to the chip. see the green circle button with a tick in the middle , click that first & after it is completed the verified then click the next green button beside it with a arrow pointing right to upload. but make sure you go into tools at the top & make sure everything is config with the serial port setup with the usb & your board setup an select arduino UNO. hope this helps a little to get you started.:thumb:

If you need any more assistance with it i can guide you. but be in mind the sketch can be tricky at times to get it right. & the codes has to correspond with the pin layout on the IC. like Gnd , power , source in , source out , A0 to A5 from analog in & the digital out pins.

I can't believe how easy these chips are to write to compared to the code we used in the 1970's! Very cool! ")

i fixed the backside..
somehow all the loose parts didn't line up..
now they do.

Also the underbelly on 1 side the gap is closed..

and some greebles are placed on the hull.

at this moment there are 2 top engines ready..
and started at the 3 engine..

Almost 3..

The inside of the engine is the most difficult.
i don't know how the guys who build at original size build do it.
But at my size i almost can't do it :)

I remember a guy joining this forum with a similar name, stating he had not built many paper models, apparently he's gone now. Too bad, he could have learned much just by looking at your models as you are building them, to see how it's done! :)

Nicely built mate :thumb:. dnalor I'm not sure if this would work on your engine glow , if you put two set of LEDs in one engine. From the outer ring of the engine make one LEDs light solid but put the inner ring of the engine LEDs flashing at a slow motion pace. It might work out great on the engine & it looks like the engine is going or moving the ship. I just had a test out on mine & it looks absolutely great. but doing it is working out the time duration for the light to flash slow.
