Is this allowed ???

Sure, why not. We have links to all kinds of places. Putting full banner ads is not, but a link to a business related to the hobby, sure, it's all good. Asking is O.K. is too. You can be sure if I post in the thread, Ive read it. :)

I do not think that Models n' Moore can really be considered a business at this point. Nothing is for sale! ONLY FREE MODELS WILL BE OFFERED!

Looks like a good future site!

Looks like it will be a great future site, especially the watercraft & the HO and N scale galvanized MUD. I hope there will be other HO and N scle items. I would like to know if you plan on any paper models of current cruise ships in service?

Magnus Morck's work is outstanding. He has left a legacy, and quite an educational one at that. I think it is great that you are hosting his work, it is your privilege and our pleasure! I really wish I had bigger pictures, but below is what I was able to get off of your website. If you have bigger pictures of any of the models you wish to post, please do! :)

I don't personally plan on doing any cruise ships. However, a cruise ship designer may want to post with me, and if he does, then they will be here.

Yes, there will be more HO and N scale models.

Zathros,

Here are the bigger pics. Sorry for the delay, but I was unable to get this done due to circumstances beyond my control. Got the first 6 of them, last one will follow.

These are really interesting. In fact, I see how little I know about American Civil war and even less about its naval side :) (Yes, I remember Merrimac vs. Monitor, but that is about it :))

It is thought that at least 618,000 Americans died in the Civil War, and some experts say the toll reached 700,000. The number that is most often quoted is 620,000. These casualties exceed the nation's loss in all its other wars, from the Revolution to now.

Modern Naval Warfare began during the American Civil War. The amount of ships, and variety boggles the mind! The amount of people that gave their lives is incredible, beyond belief. 51,112 casualties in three days? These are just 2 battles listed below.

Battle of Gettysburg
Date: July 1-3, 1863

Location: Pennsylvania
Confederate Commander: Robert E. Lee
Union Commander: George G. Meade
Confederate Forces Engaged: 75,000
Union Forces Engaged: 82,289
Winner: Union
Casualties: 51,112 (23,049 Union and 28,063 Confederate)

Battle of Chancellorsville
Date: May 1-4, 1863

Location: Virginia
Confederate Commander: Robert E. Lee
Union Commander: Joseph Hooker
Confederate Forces Engaged: 60,892
Union Forces Engaged: 133,868
Winner: Confederacy
Casualties: 30,099 (17,278 Union and 12,821 Confederate)

Don't forget Antietam, THE bloodiest single day of battle. 22,717 casualties in 12 hours of fighting. Three hours alone produced 5,600 casualties on Bloody Lane.

to continue Zathros's stats count:

Battle of Antietam (Sharpsburg to the CSA)

Location: Maryland

Union Commander: George B. McClellanhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_B._McClellan
Confederate Forces Engaged: approximately 45,000
Union Forces Engaged: approximately 87,000
Winner: Inconclusive
Casualties: 22,717 (12,401 Union and 10,316 Confederate)

I had a friend come up from Venezuela, and we watched "Gettysburg" and "Glory", on my Home Theater (100" inch screen w/ LCD Projector). His astonishment, and awe was something I was not prepared for. He said that there is absolutely no mention of this, and it gave him a better insight into the American Story. He used to think that America's love for Abraham Lincoln was strange, but after watching a few documentaries, I know he went back home with a different understanding. He was also shocked at the ease at which we can access just about anything over the Internet, something that I hope doesn't change. He learned more about the history of his country here, than he did at home. :)

"The Killer Angels," the source materiel for "Gettysburg," gave me my understanding of what happened when at Gettysburg, which led me to explore the Battle of Antietam. There is apparently a like book/novel for Antietam called "Landscape Turned Red" which is supposed to be quite a good read. I can't vouch for it, but "Killer Angels" is a fantastic book and well worth the time.
