Well, another weekend of garage work with no end in sight. I did manage to work on rescaling the landing gear file. I printed a set for the current build and the stealth TF. Each sheet is US letter.

It is a bummer when you have a "honey-do" list that just will not quit. Good luck with it.

I hope that you get some build time in soon.

Oh, I still have a bunch of garage to clean, but managed to get a little building in. I copied 52 & 53 about a million times to make the vents and spacers. This is somewhat time consuming....

Those vents are nicely done. I like the thought of the detail that you are putting into this model. You are doing a GREAT job in it.

I know that you are working on the BSG Chariot right now, but I was wondering how this one is going as well?
Watching this build thread is making me want to go through and completely rebuild all of my old TFs, and detail them out as much as possible.

Not only am I a "Battlestarahalic", but I am also a "Buckahalic" as well.

I have this on another hold, for the chariot (the Chariot is building fast, as it is well designed). This build is taking so long, it's like it's being built at Lockheed Martin, and it's a Lightning. I should be back on it in less the a week. Then I need to swing into the shadow Thunderfighter with astro droid socket.

Where can I find the Astromech droid that you will be using for your TF, or is it a custom build?

I am using a Build-a-droid R-5 head, but I shaved off the eyes, and I will add an R-2 radar eye. But I want the socket to fit any astro droid figure. Now that the test build of the BSG Chariot is complete, back to the TF. Updates soon.

Sounds like a good idea. I thought that you were making your own paper astromech, or modifying one of Tirick's astromechs (You can find his stuff here : http://tcfgaming.com/)

I am looking forward to seeing how this turns out.
Good luck with it.

Finished the back. Parts 52 and 53 are much easier to work with at this size! Added most of the underside, up to the replacement 54. Next comes the landing gear.....

You are doing a GREAT job on this project. It is looking really good so far.

If there are any techniques that I used in my detailed TF rebuild that you want to use for this project, by all means, go for it. If you have any questions about the techniques that I used, please do not be afraid to ask. I will do what ever I can to help you out with them.

Keep up the GREAT work.

Thank you both for the very kind words! Well, if I knew how close to being finished I was..... I was daunted by the nose gear, not any more, RF's design is awesome! First one is done!
