I am glad to see that you were able to start back up with the TF again.

BTW, I noticed that you have a coloured pencil on your work table. How well does it work for edging?

RB,
The pencils work well, if I'm careful. Too much pressure and the edges fray. I usually don't edge with the point, but use the side of the exposed lead. I have a modest set of Prismacolor, so color matching has been easy. I have some Prismacolor pens, they bleed and color matching is tricky.

I see what you mean, but are they not a little to tall for the canopy as well?
I think that the scale of the figures and the plane might be off a bit.

These are the mego 3.75" figures. I think the issue in this is the seat bottom height. I had the same issue with seat placement on my custom cockpit, the seats bottoms needed to be low, and I angled the seats like an F-16 to get a look that I liked. No worries, your cockpit set is amazing!

OK, sounds good to me.
Thank you for the compliment.
I am looking forward to seeing the finished product.

BTW, Are you going to enter it in the art show at any of the local SCI-FI convensions ( i.e. NorwesCon or RustyCon) once it is finished?

The way that you are going, I think that you could show it and it would generate quite a bit of interest.
Ditto. I'd love to see the finished plane. What you have done so far is amazing! I love the layering (never thought that anyone would be crazy enough to cut out all those tiny buttons)!!! Keep it up! :thumb:

Thank you! Both you and Rhaven Blaack have been so encouraging! Those buttons were 178% bigger, so...... I have some more build picture to post. It is the home stretch. The cockpit is in, the upper skin is on, the lower skin, front and back, are on. The sponsons and the engines are complete but not placed. I am playing with the landing gear, I am hoping to have them printed by this time next week.

Oh, and to pig pile on a trend, I have started the "stealth" TF in 1:18, which will have an astro droid socket behind the rear seat or on centerlined on the rear deck.

Adding an astro droid socket to the TF will be interesting to see. You really have my curiosity going now. I am really looking forward to seeing it.
Are you going to add a black R2 unit as well (maybe R2-Q5) to match the whole stealth scheme?
