I just saw that UHU02 started a new project: Space Station V from "2001". Interesting, now we'll see a secon model of that station (Martin Sänger from "Paper Aviation" made one 2 years ago, but as the fully build variant from "2010").

I wonder how the dimensions of UHU02's version will be.

I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this, but UHU02's "Seven Skeleton Warriors" are now available for download on his site.

I imagine they can always be scaled to each other, or to the applicable craft. :)

I'm dreading the thought of making the framework for the unfinished sections. You'd almost have to soak the formers and stringers with superglue to get something like that to stand up to more than a whisper.

2001 v 2010 ......

Mmmmm. More fantastic model material that will burst forth onto the card-modelers world with the usual fantastic creativity and perfect craftmanship and digital engineering perfection that he has always produced......:thumb:

I downloaded the 2010 Space Station V model designed by Martin Sanger.
That is my next project after UHU02's Discovery.

I was intending to convert Martins 2010 version, to the half built 2001 version......

How, I am not sure yet........

I have also looked at the representation of Martins version of the "tension wires" stringing the arms. I am going to try to replicate the original, which show 4 tension wires per string, instead of 3.... Also, the support rails for the stringer supports, I want to modify also.
I think, so far, that the best method to string these things will be to do it all "in the flat".... We'll see......

But, ........... I will also look forward to see what our Master is going to produce....... :thumb:

I'm intrigued ..

Any updates on this latest creation ????????

I have some wire from my Tig Welder that I think would be perfect for thi. My Tig welder will weld down to .020" with care.
