Even though I still have some steps in the build before i HAVE to decide, Ive decided to go with the Cruiser mode. I can do the Mech mode later, but with the builds of my Veritechs, I think the Cruiser would be better dislpayed with those little guys
Wow! Build looks flawless so far! nicely done. Can't wait to see this in cruiser mode. You're inspiring me to do one too, now....

Other than the original Movie, I didn't really watch Stargate, but as far as the SDF-1, Yeah, you should build it
On the One hand, i applaud your design Thunderchild....but on the other hand, those beveled edges are a Bitch. Pardon my language. lol

I was wondering about the beveled edges while doing my own test build. Eventually me and the test builders decided that the bevels just adds that extra detail to make it worth keeping.
The other rationalization was that the small v1 model could just be scaled up for those who find the bevels too daunting.

Im seriously considering the Cruiser mode. But im not at the point where I have to decide yet, so anything can still go,
