WOW! Very nice model, I was searching the internet for a very long time hoping to find any of "Deadliest catch" ships' models. At last I did, but still have serious problem. I'm quite new to this forum and I am not allowed to download this beautifull ship model of yours. Maybe someone could help or explain me what to do? Thanks in advance.

Thank you. I to looked every were for these ships but found none, that is why I decided to start designing them. I am in the process right now of designing the Northwester.

As for downloading, here are the rules on the subject...

"It is the policy of this forum that in order to weed out possible pirates and, to be frank, freeloaders looking for something for nothing. Thus, we require our new members to have a post count above ten (10) posts and an account age of one week before this section will be available."

So once you make a few more post you should be able to download it.

You can do any thing if you just set your mind to it. I didn't think I could do it either but started out with small stuff then moved up to the ships. I know they are not great designs like some of the masters but with a little patience and a whole lot of cussing they turn out okay. LOL

Well I am an ex-truck driver so I know plenty of the cuss words to make it through the design stage. Still some times though I have to make up new words sign1

im not considered a Freeloader, am I? Granted I comment, and give my opinion, but none of my designs have made it to the unfold stage yet, so I've been unable to share, and I've shared build pics, but all were models I freely downloaded from here or PM

Well I was going to do a sea diorama but after fiddling with it decided to do this instead since it was a dedication to Capt. Phil. I hope you like.

I want to give credit to the artist who painted the lovely picture, Gail Kapusnick, she does remarkable work.

Wow, that is super . To be honest, it's a beautiful memorial. I think any person who appreciated Capt. Phil would appreciate this. Super excellent, really. :)

Sorry to say but I have given up on designing these for now until I get a better program. I want to put out better quality designs than what the Cornelia Marie was. It is hard to do that when all you have to work with is MS Paint. So maybe some day I will do the others but for now they are on hold, sorry.

I can understand stopping because of the difficulty. I would just like to say that I know people who have 1000's of dollars worth or programs, and they could not have come up with a model and diorama like this, which has captured that ships soul perfectly. So if you stopped because it was too labor some, that is totally understandable. The piece you produce is just incredible, regardless of what program was used. It stands as an excellent model, tribute and memorial. :thumb:
