Hey Ryan, Thanks for stopping by. I was actually working on the skins today. I have unrolled them. I have not added panels lines etc., but you I think you may be able to see what I am trying to improve on. I really can't stand how almost all paper planes have these vertical seams that make them look like they came off of a butchers block. So, with that in mind, I am trying to minimize that effect. I have attached a sample of the skins as they stand at this moment, but this may not be final, and most probably, is not final. :)

@ASC Mclaren, Thanks!! Still a W.I.P.

I have decided to rearrange the skins for the empennage into the cabin. There will vertical lines. I am trying to minimize then. I am of the opinion that horizontal lines flow better to the human eye, especially when look at something that is modeled and moves in that direction. Of course, only the build will tell. The doors that appear as the will be split will be separate pieces that go into the side of the fuselage. This is necessary for a bend that occurs there, so it kind worked out well.:)

it looks realy good! something like this i would to build from "wood" too :mrgreen:

A very fine veneer, Balsa sheet, for instance, would work great. I think this plane would be easy to make into an R/C version. I may make a set of plans for slightly over-sized wings, rudder and elevator just for that. Clear plastic sheets works well too and you don't see them when it's flying. Of course, a beefy electric motor works really helps too! :)

Huh, great design! I'm getting dizzy seeing so much geometry out there, in fact I'm stucked in designing a poor railcar :D

This Winter has been brutal on my health, so I am so far behind on EVERYTHING, so much that when I open the files, I ask myself, "I did this?".:confused:
