Crotch Rocket

Gettin bored with real space and sci-fi mods, thought I'd try some thing new. Found this really cool looking Yamaha MT-1. Looks like a real challenge, we'll see how it turns out.

I built one of their bikes years ago and it went together really well! I think you are in for a pleasant experience :) keep up the great work!

Lower half of frame complete. I thought at first it was too small but it's just the bike...it's all engine.

Looking good. I've got this printed off somewhere, just never had the time to build it, always starting other models. I also built one of the other models, they do go together really nice.

That engine could stand on it's own as a model. I have to get the spherical objects up to build one of these! :)

Slooow going, lots and lots of fiddly bits.

I don't think that's slow going. It's coming out straight and true, so whatever you call it, it's right!

Swing arm done, there are 34 parts in this piece alone.

I always wondered if the soft aluminum used to secure chain link fence would work for the handlebars. It would be great to put inside for support. Just thinking out loud, in my head, then typing it. Cavernous in here!

Made some decent progress this week end. It's actually starting to look like something.
