If this your own design or someone's kit. My 11 year old always talks about how much he likes this rifle. Considering i don't let him do first person shooter games, I have no idea of how he knows of all these weapons? Your model is awesome!! I certainly would be very careful walking around with that!

I originally got it from Paper Replika, but I just looked for the link, and I can't find it. This is EXACTLY why I save papercrafts, even if I don't think I'll build it.

That Barrel looks like it has actual bluing on it. Did you reenforce it with anything?
Nothing, the Sections of the barrels aren't really long enough to require re-inforcement. it's actually holding up pretty good

Man that looks good. If i may ask, how did you roll your barrel? I have such a time with round parts like that.
I cheat, lol. I have 9 wooden dowels ranging from 1/8" to 1", and a collection of little metal tubes in sizes ranging from 1/25" to 7/8". Basically, if it's a tube, I got the size needed, lol
Go to any craft store (Michaels, Hobby Lobby, etc) The Metal tubes i got in a variety pack for $1 (I bought 2 of them) the dowels were about $.50 apiece, and 3' long (I cut them down to 14")

Man, I'm running to my local Michael's to see if they have a tube collection like that. I may have mentioned this before, but Michael's can't sell the left over "Picture Frame" cardboard they have, but they can give it to you. Walk in with a model and show them what you doing with it, it also helps if you have a couple tubes of glue and other doo-dads you are buying from them. They have so far given me almost 15 lbs. of the most amazing non-acidic cardboard, of all different colors and thicknesses that may take a coping saw to cut, FREE!! Michael's rules. I gave the Manager of that section a CD filled with models I had that were freely available, as he had no idea of this hobby whatsoever?
