Holy Cow!! I don't even know where someone would start with that. I'd do the wheels then start scratchin' my head for a really long time!:wave7:

Thanks Zathros!
Actually I cheated a bit on these. I ripped and used the textures from the game. They were just so good I wouldn't even try doing them myself. :p

This is far more common than people believe. I personally don't believe in emulating the "Columbus Syndrome". i remember seeing a special on how the people at Star Trek made their models. I was quite surprised to see a space shuttle craft that had BIC shaver handles build into the pods warp nacelles. Past is prologue!

TC You have done a FANTASTIC job on these models.
Both look like they would ba a fun build.
Even though I really know nothing about the game. I do like the designs of the vehicles that I have seen in this forum.
Keep up the GREAT WORK!!!

Thanks guys! You're the best! :D

For some reason I couldn't log on to Zealot this morning. So many have probably already found this on our sister-forum, but here it is.

I've uploaded the files to my DeviantArt gallery: http://thunderchildftc.deviantart.com/gallery/30695114

Direct link to the Mako:

Have fun!
And don't be shy, build pics are always fun to look at!

Whoa Nelly!!! I completely missed this!! I wish there was a way of keeping such models like this up in the limelight! I also don't know how you guys bang these out so fast, but that's another issue. Thanks, from many people, I'm sure. :)

Apologies: Just a note to anyone building the Mako, parts A7, A8 and A9 are missing some tabs that joins them to A1. Not a big deal I'm sure but an error on my part nonetheless. Happy building!

Thanks for the update, are you going to fix it and put out a new PDF in due time ?

I'm thinking about it.
Waiting to see if any more issues crop up.
The tab's aren't that big an issue, I know many modelers cut them off anyway, but it's still on my list.

Over at pm.com it was mentioned that the cut lines didn't print clear enough, I'm waiting so see if anyone else have the same problems.

I have not printed the model yet, but when viewing it in Adobe Reader the fold and score lines do seem to be on the light side but nothing to bad. I saw the post over at pm and I think the problem the builder had was with the scoring lines where there are texture. They seem hard to see.

Would be nice if Pepakura add a feature that marks the score/fold lines outside the texture. That way you do not have ugly lines across the texture, yet you still have clearly visible marks to guide you.

Only other way is play around with the color of the score/folding lines.

I actually did that with some of the more complex parts on the kodiak.
The RAF pilot available at ukpapermodels utilize only this method, and has no fold lines on the model at all.

LOL

Nonetheless, now that I will be doing the ME3 Kodiak I can correct these little things for it. Nothing wrong with a little catnip now and then. :D
