Very Nice! I have not forgot about you. I'll get sanding on those molds. Maybe I can give you an update next week...

Scott

Hey Scott,, long time no hear. That sounds great, I would certanly like to have the good shingles with the realistic dimplesbut I must say I haven't heard from you in so long I thought maybe more important things had arisen, so don't go over to papermodelers there's alot more on this over there. I've started experimenting already, the results are ok, but not as good as I would really like.

This is such an amazing design and build. It's really cardstock modeling taken to its peak. Really a fantastic job.

Chris

Hey Chris if you check out Papermodelers there's alot more detail and explanation on this there. I can upload alot more pics, alot more of the build process and written expanation easier over there.

Yes Scott has done a great job on design, I haven't had any problems what ever with any of his files, everything has gone together perfectly. I have carried this alot farther than the posted files and still not finnished.

Shingles on

Hey Paul hope the move is going well. I know moving sucks Thats why I've only done it twice in 22 years. Myfirst was in 89 from a duplex to a mobile home then in 99 to block home. Hope I never have to move again, got alot of stuff accumulated.

Well here's how my couch turned out, the pic you posted were a big help.

Whoa! A 1/4 Gemini, where would I ever put it? After five months of build time on the Merc (and being out of work for three of those five) hey why not, it would look great sitting next to the Merc. A Gemini capsule is twice the size of the Merc, it would be huge. I do plan on taking a break on the big stuff, I have several mods on the docket I've been wanting to get on. Actually the next one is going to be surfdukes 1/24 gemini, it will go well with my 1/24 merc.

Christmas is when I,ll be posting that one.About 56 1/4 high and 22 1/2 at the base.Same deal as the Mercury basic parts and fill in the details as we go along.I figure it would be a year long project on and off.I figure I would do the Mercury ,Gemini and Apollo in 1/4 scale then I would be done on large scale spacecraft.I too have a few awaiting I found a really cool light cycle I want to convert to a paper model.

The couch really looks the part! Good job!

Did Surfduke do a 1/24 Gemini? I only know his Saturn-based space vehicles.

The journey ends.

Hey PK I stand corrected, it's Tone Noteboom's 1/24 Gemini, and I've already started on it. The size difference between the Gemini and the Merc is incredible, the reason I say this is Paperair mentioned designing one in 1/4 and posting the files,,wooohooo another gargantuan!
