I am very pleased with the result, especially with the texture. The studio model had no interior, its windows were painted black with light blue stripes on it. I made these simulated reflections a bit larger to avoid a zebra crossing look. sign1

My dear friend (or better: accomplice  ) Rhaven has already got a copy of the parts to beta build it. I will now continue with his Mk. III, give it an appropriate texture and see that everything fits.

CU!

THANK YOU FOR SUCH A WONDERFUL MODEL.

I would like to be the first to say, that you have done an OUTSTANDING and AMAZING job on this fighter. It really makes a wonderful addition to the Buck Rogers model list. I am looking forward, to seeing what you do with the HBB TF.

I will be building the QUAD soon. I will post pics.

I have been working on the MK-III TF and have finally finished the parts sheet for such. I did send it to Revell-fan for texture, paint and beta build.

THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN FOR A WONDERFUL MODEL.

Thank you all for your kind words! I'm glad you like it. Maybe I'll be adjusting the aft part of the canopy on a later date. Now I am cleaning up the parts for the Mk. III. And, BTW, the HBB SF wings and cannons are ready. Stay tuned!

Great work so far. I see that you had a slight fit problem around those pesky inlet louvers. I ran into problems there as well on my first attempt, but nothing major. I assume that this blue version will have the cockpit installed? It will be a while before I start building again but I will keep a watch out for this one until I get back to building models in the future. Keep it up and see you around the forums.

Hello Silveroxide,

Long time no see. Thank you for the kind words. I always have problems with the inlet louvers.
This one, will not have the detailed cockpit. when I build a kit for the first time (or with new parts), I will build it just as the kit is, to see how everything fits, and then, i will build another one with modifications. I am still working on the cockpit interiors.
This blue version (I believe) is from the second season, when they were on the SEARCHER.

Another update and more photos.

Here is another update. Here, I have attached the canopy section. It was pretty straight forward and I did not have any problems with it.

Here I have attached the nose cones.
*HINT/TIP* For those of you who have built (or are thinking about building) the TF, when you get to this stage, you should make the nose cone itself first then insert the cannons. This will make things go quite a bit easier.

The blue stripe that is in front, is suppose to be beige, but I thought that it would look better blue, so I painted it to fit in with the rest of the paint scheme.

ENJOY!!!

Quad beta build finished!!!

Hello Ladies and gentlemen,

I have finally finished the beta build of the QUAD TF. Here are the photos for your viewing pleasure.
Revell-fan has done an OUTSTANDING job with the extra parts. I did not have any problems with the parts or the fitting of them. everything was pretty straight forward.
Revell-fan even added a little extra detail to the engine exhausts. The first photo shows the extra parts.
The only thing that I "changed" was to colour part 34 blue to match the rest of the paint scheme.

Hello again!

The second in the row is ready: RB's Mk. III.

I have revised and retextured all parts so that the finished model fits in the canon TF line. In addition, I have added a new part for the canopy which is missing in the original plans.

I thought the fins were a bit thin and made them thicker by laminations.

While preparing I noticed that the fin base structure looks like some sort of fighter plane. Very simplistic, however, you surely could expand on that..!
