The weapons are done. The build thread for the cannons is pic heavy and I will have to upload it into more than one post so be patient. The Cannons are scratched built with no plans but you have the choice of following my thread and doing it my way, or use the GW plastic cannon and as an alternative, use the one from the Sentinel in Patorochs archive.

The build sequence is much better than words so without further ado, here is the first installment of the cannons.

More updates on the LCP. The construction of the gunners station. There are two other options that I have been pondering... a revolving tub with armor sides, and a gun turret. but that is for another time. Here are the updates for the LCP.

This is AWESOME!!!!!!

I have been papering for a while now and have been seriously interested in WH40K for years and this is awesome work. I have done a few things related to WH40K in paper but nothing this detailed.

I have finished my 1/2 scale bolter and have a few other things in progress...:thumb:

I would like to see some photos of that Bolter, as for details, I have that problem that when I build, sometimes I do an over kill with too much info. This slows me down in my builds and I try to never have two projects going on at the same time because one of them is going to suffer in the build process.

Well, anyhow, Here are some more updates for the LCP. By all means, this craft is almost finished but now comes the fun part, the details.

The ramp is finished by the attachment of the cables. I wanted to make it operational but it meant that I would have to make some kind of gears and the hull is already sealed. I compromised and placed it into the horizontal position, half way up and half way down. The final pics will be here and the next post due to only six photos per post.

My 1/2 scale Bolter Build

I actually think this came out great. I am going to use it as part of my Halloween Costume...going as an Inquisitor and using it as a Bolt Pistol. Took me 3 days to build.

Cool Bolter, too bad it is not operational but looks menacing never the less.

Over at dakkadakka.com, in the "cosplay" threads, someone built a bolter using a nerf gun. What is cool about it, is that it works when you pull the trigger. Unfortunately it is made with sheet styrene and not paper, but you can substitute the styrene with heavy cardstock and have a mixed media bolter. He also made the armor for a Sister of Battle which his girlfriend proudly poses in it. check it out...http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/284267.page

Genius stuff! I know this may not be the place to ask, but why paper? Styrene sheet and greenstuff would make these pieces castable, and a few bottles of silicone casting material and you would have a fleet of plastic models.

Have you ever done work with terrain? I would love to see your take on a Bastion or Drop pod...

Why paper? Mostly because this is a paper modeling forum and If you noticed about my builds, I treat paper like styrene. Plus I have the luck of a good stock of the heavy stuff. My background started as a scratch builder and I used styrene extensively but the pricing was starting to get steep. I also have done resin molds of some of my models in the earlier days but the price of silicone mold material and resin has also gone up. If I do build and make molds of the models in the future, I will probably go the sales route to justify the cost of materials.

As for terrain or dioramas, here are a couple of mine.....
