Nope, did the whole thing in Google Sketchup so no tech drawings.

What does one use the tech drawings for ?

FYI : I finished the bottom torso and the two legs. Just the feet and guns to go then I am done.

Well, finally after one Fifa 2010 world cup and 64 matches I finally completed the beta build. I changed some minor parts which I had split up in to smaller pieces but after building them I could see making them one piece would work better. Eg : the side armor plates of the gatling cannons.

Avery thing went smooth I am so happy that this is finally ready to be released. It took me more than a year to start from scratch but thanks to zealot members who showed interest in my model I pushed through.

I would love to submit it to zealot for download so where and how do I do it ?

In the mean time I am just finishing some minor tweaks like flap sizes on small parts.

Oh yes. The guns will be a pain to build. But I know the master builders will be able to handle it. With my lack of skill and eye site I was unable to build it using the parts so I just replaced it with painted tooth pics.

I also didn't color in the edges, once again. Lack of skill, eye site and a steady hand.

I hope to see a L5 build in all its glory soon.

Dear Sir, your built is awesome! beautiful beautiful ! congratulation.
So the last count was how many pieces? Which part was a challenge
when you were building it?

Really interesting.. good job!

Mech are always a passion of mine. For now i haven't build one with paper (only with LEGO bricks  ) but in future a model like this is very attractive. Something different from the usual madcat/timberwolf :)

Thank you for your compliments.

The model is 247 parts.

The hardest for me was the barrels of the gatling guns. It was to small for my fingers and my eyes so I just used the tooth pics. So if you substitute the parts of the barrels like I did with something else the amount of parts drop a bit. The barrels alone are 10 pieces each.

Other than that all parts are relatively easy and big to build.

Oh yes. You will have to re-enforce some of the bigger parts on the inside like the nose for example since the faces are quite big.

I have uploaded it to Zealot at :

Quick question, is anyone having a problem with printing pages from the PDO. format?

I've tried both Vector and bitmap printing but it doesn't seem to work. Should I just reinstall it or am I doing something wrong?

EDIT: Tried reinstalling it, looks like it worked! Must've been something I did when I was designing something earlier.
