I bought a Rivarossi Big Boy & Challenger locomotives in March of 2000 and I have misplaced the manuals.
Is there any place online where I can view them or even buy them?
If anyone has similar locomotives from around the same time I will gladly pay for copies of your manuals.
The Big Boy I know said DIGITAL on the box. Does this mean it has a decoder or what?
Thank you in advance.

PS--the HO Seeker site has manuals for the AHM 1971 models but not the updated models with the newer 1990s motoring, meaning the motor is not in the cab

I would very much doubt it has a decoder installed, A box being marked Digital could just be referring to it electronics board.
Does it say anywhere on the packaging DCC Ready or DCC Equipted?
If its marked DCC ready it should have a NMRA plug to accept a decoder.
If it says nothing then a decoder would have to be hardwired in to it.

I bet your right, I was just wondering because I don't think DCC equipped locos were that prominent in 2000.
Especially a Rivarossi Big Boy for 200 bucks

Hey Jaijef I have several Rivarossi's myself. Here is a link to their engines. The largest HS that supplied for R was here in Cinti but is now gone. Most of those parts are on ebay for some good prices. Let me know if this helps.

I think the 2-6-6-6 was the closest manual I could find.
The motor is in the boiler on my 4-8-8-4 and my 4-6-6-4

I have a 2000 vintage Big Boy and have a manual and exploded view (unfortunately, both in Italian). If you would like pdfs of them email me at donbpage@comcast.net
