Geez! I have nothing but admiration for your patience. Cutting that lot would have driven me insane.

I saved that photo of the 2,280 cut parts to my hard drive.
I will use it for inspiration next time I'm feeling intimidated by some trivial card modeling challenge.

i apologize for such a big brake with no updates
the critical part in the assembling (IMHO tracks) and the heat that this summer brought to us, almost made me give up
but now the heat is over and holidays are coming, so the muse is back!

This is very good to see more progress on this one! I hate making tracks, this is quite impressive.

well... i did it. i finished the tracks!
i almost gave up...
my suggestion is that each side will take 50 links (in the instructions said 55) and the other 20 will be spare
i felt that it was the hardest thing i did in my experience in card modeling, mainly because of a huge amount of repeating parts and boring assembling

wheels... wheels... more wheels... and some more
i decided to assemble them in groups
there are 3 groups: inside wheels, outside wheels and rear wheels
the first group is inside wheels, twelve in a count
the base of wheels assembled (first picture)
now to the tricky part. there is a rubber ring to which 2 very thin rims must be glued, where the little one is 1 mm thick. to cut this rim is possible, but to work with it and glue it right - impossible.
but thanks to the college method, from German forum, i did it very easy:
we take the ring cut out from inside, and big rim cut out from outside and glue it on the edge of inside of ring. then we cut out the inside of big rim.
the same is with the little rim that glued to inside of big rim and inside cut out. with no problem, we have two rims glued to the ring
on the first picture of next post are 4 steps of the process

Hello. No, i didn't made it to the body yet. i already know about some flaws that i will meet, like missing and mismatching parts, but i hope i will manage to overcome this
i finished to assemble internal pairs of track wheels
and attached them to chaises arms
next almost same external and rear track wheels
on the last picture is the summery of all i did until now

The detail your getting is super I hope you manage to beat the angraf mistakes to get it to look its best.
I ordered this awhile back and was out of stock @ the time. Re-ordered last week, got it yesterdaybounce7. Man what a kit, and when I look at the kit and then at where you have built yours too, I am in awe. I do have a question, is there anywhere to get the directions in English, and I am not sure, but is the trailer in there some where too. Too anyone thinking of purchasing, this is the most detailed and build intensive vehicle I have seen so far in any paper kit. When you open that booklet and thumb the pages, you get numb at the number of sub assemblies and complexity of the vehicle. Look forward to your next posting. PS: Is it possible to give a better discription of the tire build up! Your friend, Rick
