Going back to some of the incidental vehicles there was of course Strykers Car. I have actually touched this very car,in fact I helped push it into a garage for painting when Dave Lee Travis bought it and sent it to a local painters Mech Spray. Some where there is a picture from the local paper of long haired kids receiving an early groin strain trying to get the damn thing to move up hill with partially deflated tyres,Ah happy days.

Hi there Mick my old mate  is this the one with all the tiny tubes to make ? if so  i think we would end up down the tubes if we started this one sign1 so just be kind to us and agree that we would most certainly be able to make it.... if only we had the time to :p

I'm sure you could build it no problem Pete. I tried it a while ago and the tubes are lot more daunting to think about doing then they are do. However you do need time and the chance to concentrate which as you know is not something I get very often so it never got finished, like most of the models I start.wall1 You should give it a go Mate or forget about the tubes and use the module to try and make this:thumb:

You are right matey. I will be onto the Seaview once Stingray is completed and then there's the a340 {now on up-scale.... X4 yes 4 times bigger  } and a nice motorbike to boot oh and the Warspite + the very nice Space shuttle  Plenty to keep me going :thumb: I will post the results very soon {Stingray next}

One of your marvelous creations Gary.... I enjoyed making this one :thumb:

Now we're cooking with gas.... What are you mumbling on about my mate  what on earth do you think is wrong with that ? it's very clean and well made and can't wait to see it complete WICKED !!! :thumb: If it's the rigidity you're on about, just laminate onto another sheet and problem solved or like you say and Gary go for the thicker card stock at start. I am Soooooooooooooooooo pleased to see all this stuff coming up, you've made me HAPPY - THANKS

Nice looking build Mick:thumb: One of my favourites the SHADO Mobile and the gorgeous but impractical Interceptor and the reasons for my trepidation about the proposed UFO film.I still have nightmares about the new TB2 bbbrrrr!. I use paper from 120gsm up to 220gsm depending on what I'm using it for and what if I'm honest is cheap.:thumb:

Thanks for the TIP matey

Hiya Phil. Nice having a chat and THANKS for the TIP to start Stingray from the middle.... PROBLEM SOLVED :thumb: I also started over again, but this time i've printed onto GLOSSY paper  and will laminate that onto card stock to boost it a wee bit  Look what our friend Mick has offered up - we are really going from strength to strength and all thanks to you for starting this FANTASTIC thread, and GARY for his SUPERB designs. When you get back on track and get some of your own time back to strut your stuff, that will make this thread UNSTOPABLE
