Looking good Pete
You guys better slow down or I'll have to take an extended lunch break to catch up!
Thanks Gary. Well it's all gone a wee bit quiet on here ! i think there's a hive of activity with your model of TB5 ! I'm not far off completion another night should see her complete  so your lunch break extention may be needed sign1 It's a nice one to build Gary and i hope to do it justice with a decent background and lighting in the last few pics  Did i ever mention the beautiful SEAVIEW that would be a nice one to have as a model... but you know what.... no-ones ever made a model available  do you know anyone who could bring her back onto the oceans ? She's a GORGEOUS sub GARY

Hi all, well after a cracking start on TB5 everything has ground to a halt thanks to family health problems and real world fun and games in general so no updates. On the plus side Pete's seems nearly finished and his will be much better than my butchered version. Any hoo the reason for my breaking curfew is to just let, maybe even warn you that there are plans to make a big screen version of UFO. As of yet there are few details so I don't know if Mr Anderson will be involved, nor do I know if it will be as awful as the Thunderbirds film of recent years of which we are not to talk. The New Captain Scarlet showed that it can be done and of the Anderson programmes UFO was probably the darker and more adult so with care it could be a real good film,of course it could be a real crash and burn and added to the list of "Things not to be spoken of" we shall see.The new V is looking pretty good. Times up so off I go All the best Phil

Hi Phil. First let me say that i am so sorry that you have got the health problems haunting you again, like i said in my email to you i did say a prayer for you both and the governor wasn't listening  Second : you said "my model is better than yours" i'm saying to you "I get lots of ME time after 6 and get left alone to get on with it THIS IS A LUXURY that YOU DON'T GET my friend. You have to fit everything into a very small time frame and to be honest, i couldn't do it.... You have to rush everthing to try and get it done, where as i don't. For all those who don't know of Phil's health and other issues { which i wont mention} he's a great guy doing the best he can, in a situation most of us would want to run away from... I hope i haven't spoken out of turn here Phil, you are my mate and i won't allow you to bring yourself down. Keep it going "this is your thread - and one of the best on here" and you have brought back tons and tons of memories and i {we} all thank you for that  I hope you are right with the films because that would be well worth watching....fingers crossed. Take care matey. Regards your friend Pete.

Card stock preference

question what kind of paper do you guys use ?( i mostly 120g =0,26lb )
The card i use for the larger areas is 160 gsm {and thinner or ordinary weight for the smaller parts. I have tried lots of brands and found the best all round was TESCO A4 PRESENTATION card, you get 50 sheets for £4.00 which is a good price for a really good card that gives good colour printing along with superb cutting and folding properties. :thumb: Hope that helps you mate. Regards. Pete.

Hi Ya'll
I like to use 120gsm "Osbourne" matt coated card from my local stationary store £8.99 for 100 sheets
The coating dulls the blade quite fast but i like the finish to the print

By the way I had a clear out of my models and converted them to PDF's so keep watching the download section..........

Now what shall I do next....
I'll have to reVIEW my pending projects and SEA what i have on the drawing board

Just popping in quick, thanks for the kind words my loyal and apparently vision impaired chums.Things are looking a bit better again, I think, so I hope to start getting a bit of time again soon thats not at 3am.Gary your Worshipfulness can't wait to see how the Seaview goes I think Irwin Allen would of approved of the eyes!.Of course Gary you are going to have to do a little Ski Kowalski so that he can save the day as usual. Thanks again for the kind words Phil.
